Genco were appointed to deliver a comprehensive eight-week resurfacing and civil works programme at a Tesco site, improving the functionality, safety and durability of the existing car park.
The project involved extensive groundworks, including the removal of existing concrete pads, trolley bays and sections of the existing road surface. The ACO drainage systems were renewed to improve water management, alongside kerbline repairs and the installation of new posts and bollards.
Following the preparation works, the entire car park was resurfaced and new line markings were applied throughout to improve traffic flow and parking organisation. Trolley bay areas were also upgraded as part of the wider improvement works.
The project was successfully completed on time and within budget, providing Tesco with a refreshed, well-maintained and more durable parking facility for customers and staff.
