Genco were appointed as Principal Contractor to deliver a programme of fire door replacement works at Tesco Upton Park in London. Valued at £40k, the project was completed over a four-day programme.
The works included the removal of existing FD30 single and double communal fire doors and frames, followed by the installation of new FD30s flush-design single and double fire door sets. The new doors incorporated rectangular Pyrodur vision panels and were fitted with new push plates, locksets and door closers.
The replacement doors were installed across key back-of-house and colleague areas over several floors of the store, improving the condition and performance of the existing fire door provision. All works were completed within the planned programme, with the affected areas left clean and tidy upon completion.
