Supporting Our Community, One Tree at a Time

When the Christmas decorations came down, our Director, John Roberts, was ready to get involved and help recycle Christmas trees for a great cause.

On Saturday 10 January, John teamed up with friend of Genco, Tim Horrell, to support Heart of Kent Hospice with their Christmas tree recycling initiative.

Using the Genco tipper, they collected trees from across the local area, contributing to an incredible effort that raised over £14,000 and saw around 750 Christmas trees recycled over three days.

A huge thank you to Heart of Kent Hospice for organising the initiative and to everyone who donated. We’re proud to have played our part in supporting the local community, the environment and such a fantastic charity.
