Football, Fundraising & a Fantastic Result

On Sunday 27 July 2025, we hosted our second annual Charity Football Tournament in support of Heart of Kent Hospice, and it was another fantastic success!

This year’s event was bigger than ever, with 24 teams taking part and an incredible £3,394.63 raised, including Gift Aid, to support the vital work of Heart of Kent Hospice.

David from Heart of Kent Hospice joined us on the day and later took part in a cheque presentation alongside Director John Roberts and event organisers Lucy S and Karen M. A huge thank you to everyone involved for the organisation, support and effort that went into making the day such a success.

The sun was shining, the atmosphere was brilliant and the support from everyone was fantastic. David was also there with donation buckets, helping to raise even more for the cause. Both of our teams put in a strong performance, with one reaching the semi-finals, a brilliant improvement on the previous year!

Congratulations to Barming FC, who took first place and lifted the trophy, and to our runners-up, CJS Recruitment. A huge thank you to all the teams who took part, the spectators who came along to cheer and donate, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the event possible.

We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Heart of Kent Hospice and the outstanding care and support they provide. Our annual tournament is a great opportunity to bring people together, give back to our local community and help support their vital work.
